Unis Wales statement on A-level results day 2018

As students in England, Northern Ireland and Wales receive their A-Level results today, many will be looking forward to starting university in Wales this autumn.

A spokesperson for Universities Wales said:

“Congratulations to students who have collected their results and are now looking forward to a rewarding higher education experience. Students choosing to study at a Welsh university are increasingly satisfied with their decision and are in increasing demand from employers. In the most recent survey of student satisfaction, Wales was top for overall satisfaction with the highest satisfaction levels of any UK country and was the only UK country to have increased overall satisfaction levels. For those who are still undecided about their options, or maybe did not get the grades they had hoped for, all universities in Wales are providing places through clearing and there are advisers waiting to discuss the best options open to them.”
