(English) A university education is not necessarily something that people pursue in their country of residence. In 2011, worldwide, there were 3.7 million internationally mobile students. Wales is proving to be a very attractive destination to students, offering a unique, vibrant experience.
(English) For many years establishing the future sustainability of the Welsh language within academia has been a priority for both the Welsh Government and Wales’ universities, and the launch of the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol was a historic moment in turning this aspiration into a reality.
(English) WISE (Wales Initiative for Student Engagement) has undergone many changes in the last year to further bolster plans on encouraging students and student unions to get involved with shaping the learning activity at their universities and colleges.
